Data Storyteller

Reporting to the Chief Data Solutions Officer, the Business Analyst/Data Storyteller will combine their knowledge of data analytics, visualisation, presentation and narrative to produce research and insight that advances Welliba’s aim of being a thought leader in the space of people analytics.

They will achieve this through close collaboration with Welliba’s science team to understand the psychometric concepts underpinning Welliba’s AI solutions. They will also be required to stay connected to Welliba’s commercial team in a listening and advisory capacity to understand the market requirements for new research. Their multichannel outputs will be grounded in psychometrics, analytics and statistics but will be interpretable and insightful for non-technical audiences.

Data Storyteller
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Be a subject matter expert in the psychometric principles underpinning Welliba’s AI technology
  • Act as a translator and connector of those principles to real-world business impacts and challenges
  • Analyse Welliba’s datasets to extract novel insights and communicate these effectively
  • Guide the creation of new datasets and/or avenues of enquiry as needed
  • Produce market-ready research and insight that directly connects people measurement from Welliba’s AI technology to business performance metrics
  • Create multi-channel content that helps tell the story of this research and positions Welliba as a thought leader in this space. This content includes, but is not limited to:
    • Slide decks
    • Whitepapers
    • Blog posts
    • Podcasts
    • Media briefings
    • Interactive dashboards
WHO YOU ARE
    •  Experienced Analyst and Problem Solver 
      • You have comfortable getting hands-on with data analysis, coding (R, Python), and visualisation (Tableau, PowerBI, Metabase, Powerpoint, etc). You’re comfortable conducting advanced analyses yourself while troubleshooting complex challenges. Psychometric knowledge is an advantage but not necessary.
    • Patient Mentor and Builder:
      • You’re approachable and supportive, with a passion for building teams and helping new graduates transition smoothly into their first roles. You enjoy coaching others and providing regular feedback that fosters a growth-oriented team culture
    • Technically Skilled in AI and Data Tools:
      • You have a strong foundation in data analysis and practical experience with LLMs or similar AI services, enabling you to integrate these tools effectively into workflows and coach others in using them.
    • Clear Communicator and Collaborative Team Player:
      • You excel at making complex data insights accessible to non-technical audiences and can effectively coordinate with different teams to align analytics outputs with broader organizational goals.
