YOUR MISSION

Welliba is looking for a professional quality assurance engineer who can take up the responsibilities of testing and monitoring the step-by-step development process to ensure that software which is developed and designed is as per the standards required by Welliba.

As a QA Engineer at Welliba, you will play a vital role in testing our services across multiple devices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, to identify any issue with acceptance criteria’s or reported visual bugs.

YOUR JOB
  • You will hunt bugs, identify issues, report them, and see that they’re dealt with.
  • You will be assessing software quality by designing and implementing software testing processes (automated e2e testing).
  • You will actively participate in team discussions and contribute ideas and solutions.
  • You will review user interfaces for consistency and functionality and recommend software improvements to enhance the user experience.
  • You will identify and implement pragmatic solutions for efficient testing processes.
  • You will continuously research new tools, technologies and testing processes.

YOUR PROFILE
  • You have, or will soon qualify, with a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in software science, engineering or related field or have an equivalent education.
  • You have strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
  • You are aware of all the testing environments and the software development life cycle.
  • You understand UX/UI design principles and IT concepts.
  • You have experience with Cypress or similar tools.
  • You can handle continuous integration and continuous deployment tools (e.g. GitHub Actions).
  • You are eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment following agile routines within the development team.
  • You have strong communication skills in English (writing and speaking), advanced German skills are also a plus.
  • You have a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • You are located in or around Hamburg (Northern Germany area).
